Asian Fusion Moves from Food to Music: The Yin, the Yang, and Cat Chang

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 10, 2007 -- Success has found its mark with Cat Chang. The Asian beauty, long known both for her songwriting and her modeling, has now discovered her place in the sun. Her recent successful concert, slated to benefit both Leukemia and Lymphoma patients and families, brought out not only Cat's Atlanta fans, but producers, promoters--and even fans from neighboring states.

"When I stepped out onto the stage, saw the lights and heard the music start, I knew I was doing the show for this absolutely great cause," said Cat. "So, I had a purpose to serve. That's what I cared about."

"After our final rehearsal the night before, I just knew it would be a great show," she said, in an interview conducted recently. "Everyone should have the opportunity in life to be successful at what they love, and I know how lucky I am to be pursuing my utmost passion. Best of all, though, I'm able to share my passion with my fans."

The show, taped before a live audience, will be available on DVD and will be marketed worldwide. The power of her music, the strength of her vocals, and the intensity of her spirit are evident in the DVD. Chang frames reality with the mystery of her Eastern heritage; her classical beauty with the storyline of success; sweet jasmine mixed with the strength and sinew of bamboo.

"Just before the concert," Chang says, "we stepped out into the middle of traffic and began doing a photo shoot in the middle of downtown Edgewood/Atlanta. We literally stopped traffic!

The concert offers the key to her purpose in life. "The minute I stepped on stage," Cat says, "I was so happy!! I was on fire! I just remembered how much I loved performing and how great it felt that I was able to share the songs I wrote and the songs that came from my heart with the crowd that night."
